Message You say that place "A" "supposedly" changed your rear main seal. Which means that you don't think they really did change it. Then you say "and that the crankshaft may be worn, causing the rear main seal to blow perodically." So could it be that they DID change the main seal, and that it's because of the bad crank?

You say the "left bank" is leaking. Did they claim to have ever worked on it?

What about the tension rods? Clutch slave cylinder? Mufflers? Tires?

Sounds like your car needed some work done before you bought it, and before this place every laid hands on it.

And now, you've taken it to another shop, that has found a list of needed repairs. Not many of which are related, or should have been fixed with other needed repairs.

In the future, have any prospective car THOROUGHLY checked by a mechanic, before you buy it.
